No claims of responsibility thus far for the separate IED detonations.

Two soldiers were killed on Saturday in two separate bombings in the Bajaur Agency, according to military officials.

“Two soldiers embraced shahadat in Bajaur Agency today in two different improvised explosive device (IED) blasts planted by terrorists along road side in Bara Kamangara area and near a Pakistani post on Pak-Afghan border respectively,” said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement.

An official of the political administration confirmed the incident.

Nobody has claimed responsibility for the blasts so far, but the Pakistani Taliban often plant roadside bombs.

Earlier this week, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan spokesman Shahidullah Shahid claimed responsibility for attacks on security personnel in Bajaur and Fateh Jang.
