A bomb destroyed a pickup truck at a petrol pump in southwestern Pakistan on Thursday, killing one person and wounding 12 others, police said.
The explosion took place in the Naseerabad district of Balochistan province.
“A pickup was waiting in a queue for its turn to fill petrol at a pump when suddenly a bomb exploded in it,” said local police official Jan Muhammad. “There is at least one death and 12 injured, six of whom are in critical condition,” Muhammad added.
It was not clear why the truck was carrying a bomb and no group has yet come forward to claim responsibility.
